David Gleig

David Gleig (stonemason) married Sophia Watson November 8th, 1846 in Manchester.  He was remarried to Margaret Illidge on September 7th, 1851 in Liverpool. He is listed as a widower on the marriage certificate. His father was William Gleig.  At the current time all we know about his father William is that he was a stonemason as well.  We're not certain when David died, but Margaret was listed as a widow when she was remarried to William Powell on December 11th, 1859 in Frodsham, Cheshire.  On the certificate she is listed as a "Glegg" not "Gleig", however her age (33), father's name (Thomas Illidge) and witnesses (Thomas and Mary Clare) confirm that she is the same Margaret.
